Paneer chilly

This is one of the easy peasy recipe which I adapted from my friend Seema D Shenoy’s page Seema’s dine divine.I love recipes which is very quick to prepare,new and tasty.And this turned out very tasty.Thank you Seema for the this tasty recipe.This makes a great starter.



Ingredients:

Paneer or cottage cheese-200 g
Capsicum-1,diced
Onions-3,diced
Garlic-2 tsp chopped
Ginger-1 tsp,chopped
Oil-3 tsp
Ingredients to be marinated:
Turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
Chilly powder-1 tsp or to taste*(see notes)
Soya sauce-1 tsp
Vinegar-1 tsp
Curry leaves-2 sprigs,chopped
Salt- to taste
Ginger garlic paste-2tsp*(see notes)
Method:
  1. Marinate the paneer with the ingredients mentioned above for 10- 15 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and saute diced onions,capsicum,garlic and ginger in high flame for 6-7 minutes.
  3. Add the marinated paneer and saute it for few minutes.
  4. Serve it hot.

My notes:
I marinated the paneer with the leftover paste of paneer uruval (Long red chillies,ginger and garlic)along with the ingredients mentioned above minus chilly powder and ginger garlic paste.That gave a good colour to the dish.
