Anjal tawa fry

Anjal means Seer fish.We get fresh ones in Mangalore.Last week when I had been to market had bought few slices of Seer fish which would make the best seer fish tawa fry.But this time I made a little twist in the recipe and it turned to be super good.You may prepare this recipe with  other seafood like prawns,silver fish,Mackeral,pomfret etc.This time I used Sukkha masala for the marinade,you may use any kabab powder or ghee roast powder too.Each time I use with different variations.Please  check my Fish Rawa fry  recipe too.I will update the post with different pictures,prepared with various fish as and when I  prepare.



Ingredients:
Seer fish slices-4
Chiroti rawa-1/4 cup or less to coat the fish
Coconut oil-as much needed to shallow fry the fish


To marinade:
Lime-1,juice
Chilly powder-1 tsp
Besan-3 tsp
Ginger garlic paste-2 tsp
Bon s chicken sukkha masala-3 tsp
Water-few drops while marinating
Salt-to taste


Method:
  1. Wash the fish slices thoroughly,apply salt and lemon juice and keep it aside for sometime.
  2. Meanwhile mix all the ingredients mentioned the marinade to a smooth paste adding few drops of water.
  3. Marinate it to the fish and keep it for an hour or more.
  4. Heat a grilled tawa or a normal tawa,add oil,dip the fish in chiroti rawa,dust the extra rawa if any and fry it on the tawa on a low flame on both the sides until it gets cooked and crisp.
