Goli Bhajo 2
This is Santoshi’s version of goli bhajo.Goli bhajo is a Mangalorean popular snack.I have already mentioned in detail in my post Goli bajo 1 which I had posted few days back….Goes best as the evening snack with piping hot chai/tea or Kaapi/coffee served with chutney.
Ingredients:
All purpose flour- 1 cup
Besan(gram flour)-2 tbsp
Curds-3/4 cup approx
Sugar-1 tbsp
Cumin seeds-1/4 tsp
Green chilly-4-5,minced finely
Coriander leaves-3 tbsp,minced finely
Plantain-1,ripe,mashed finely
Eno-1 sachet
Salt-to taste
Method:
- Mix all the ingredients together and prepare the batter to a dropping consistency.
- Ferment it for 10-15 minutes.
- Heat oil and drop a tbsp of batter in the hot oil and roast it on both the sides until golden brown.

I shall give a try to this version than 1st. This sounds more interesting with addition of ripe plantain
