Moong dal and cucumber Kosumbar

I have few pictures of salads in my folder and thought of sharing it in the space as I need to work out  more in this area.I will post as and when I find and prepare the same.Salads are very healthy and contains lot of nutrients..There are many varieties of salads …This is a common salad which is prepared in most of the South Indian homes.



Ingredients:
Moong dal -4 tbsp,soaked for an hour and drained
Cucumber -1,peeled and grated
Green chilly -1,smashed
Ginger -1 tsp ,grated
Salt – to taste
Coriander leaves – 2 tbsp,chopped

Method:

  1. Mix all the ingredients together.
  2. You may also season it with mustard seeds and curry leaves.
  3. You may also garnish it with grated coconut(1 tbsp).
  4. Serve it with the main course.
