Crunchy Beans
This is a simple stir fry recipe which I noted from Shilpa Shetty’s cookery show. She shows some interesting easy peasy recipes which looks very pleasing. This is the second recipe which I tried from her show and it came out very good. I modified as per our requirement and availability of the ingredients. I had also tried her recipe called “Bunt Bomb” prepared with the eggs. I will share the recipe soon.
Ingredients:
Tender beans – stringed and cut roughly 1/4 kg
Coconut oil – 2 tbsp( she used sesame oil)
Garlic minced – 3 tbsp
Roasted and coarse powdered groundnuts – handful
Sesame seeds – 2 tsp
Brown sugar – 1tsp ( she used coconut sugar)
Soya sauce – 1.5 tsp(she used tamara sauce)
Pepper powder – to taste
Salt – to taste
Method:
- Microwave the beans for 3- 4 minutes or steam it manually.
- Heat oil, saute minced garlic and sesame seeds.
- Add beans,groundnut,salt, pepper powder,sugar and soya sauce.
- Stir it for few minutes.
- Serve it hot or cold.
