Oats Kichdi
A special recipe just for my daughter! 🎥❤️ Oats khichdi is her absolute favorite, and I’m so glad I get to share this easy recipe with you all. Feel free to customize with your favorite veggies and spices – it’s a versatile dish that’s perfect for any time! 🥘🌟

Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup oats
- 1/2 cup split moong dal
- 1 tbsp ghee
- 2-3 cloves
- 1 small piece cinnamon
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 pinch hing
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 finely chopped carrot
- 3-4 finely chopped beans
- Green chilly 1 chopped
- Cashewnuts 7 to 8 pieces
- Salt to taste
- 3-4 cups water
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Tadka:
- 1 tbsp ghee
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp garam masala powder
- 1 tsp kasuri methi
- 2 red chilies (missed in the original preparation

- Method:
- Dry roast oats and set aside.
- Soak split moong dal for 30 minutes.
- Heat ghee, add cumin seeds and whole garam masala.
- Sauté chopped onion and veggies (carrot, beans) one by one.
- Add roasted oats, cashewnuts, soaked moong dal, water, and salt. Pressure cook for 2-3 whistles.
- Prepare tadka with mentioned ingredients and add to khichdi.
- Serve hot with a drizzle of ghee.
